Kellogg World Headquarters Front Entry Renovation
OCBA was retained by The Kellogg Company to perform master planning, site design, and construction administration services for the renovation and refresh of the World HQ Front Entry in 2023.
Woollam Preserve Master Plan
OCBA was selected by the Kalamazoo County Parks Department to create a master plan for the 212-acre Woollam Preserve, a former Boy Scouts of America camp.
Frost Valley YMCA Master Plan
O’Boyle, Cowell, Blalock & Associates, Inc. (OCBA) provided site master planning services for the Frost Valley YMCA. Located two hours outside of New York City in the Catskill Mountains, and providing a variety of day, resident and specialty camps; retreat options; and outdoor experiences for school, non-profit, and international groups; Frost Valley serves as the flagship camp for the YMCA of the USA.
Pleasant Avenue Reconstruction
OCBA was retained by the City of Sturgis to conduct a participatory design charrette that would foster community engagement and provide input for the Pleasant Avenue streetscape design.
WMU Board of Trustees Plaza Renovation
OCBA was retained to renovate the Board of Trustees Plaza at WMU into a pedestrian throughway with people-watching opportunity, the sound of water, and the re-use of flamed granite slabs.
Library Corridor Connection
The Grandville DDA Connection project includes construction of a new permanent Farmer’s Market and redesign of the existing parking lot to re-route vehicular traffic flows away from the Farmer’s Market structure.
Grist Mill Park
OCBA assisted the City of Homer in the 1990’s with obtaining a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant for Grist Mill Park.
Belknap Lookout & Reservoir Park Improvements
OCBA and the City of Grand Rapids Parks Department facilitated two listening sessions with stakeholders and the resulting improvement plans are a direct reflection of the surrounding resident’s wants and needs.
Lookout Park improvements increase visibility and safety with lighting for better visibility after dark and offer more places from which to capture sunset views.
WMU Business Technology & Research Park
OCBA was retained by Western Michigan University (WMU) to perform land planning, site design and construction administration services for the development of a state-of-the-art Business, Technology and Research Park, and new College of Engineering Campus for WMU.
Cold Brook Park Master Plan
The 110-acre Motherhouse Campus landscape had evolved over the years through plant memorial donations, often without the benefit of a plan, attention to maintenance requirements, or consideration of the surrounding context.
