Sandy Bliesener
Sandy has been a Landscape Architect (LA) and shareholder on the OCBA team for more than thirty years and has served as company president since 2017. After getting her degree at Kansas State University, Sandy started at an architectural firm in Kansas then worked at an LA firm in Southern California before landing at OCBA. Sandy’s favorite part about her job is her coworkers! She mentioned, “Everyone has unique skills and abilities and is willing to help wherever needed. They bring so much expertise to our projects - I credit them with our success!”
When she’s not leading the team, you can find her volunteering in the community, working on her garden, and finding driving routes that don't include interstates.

Rachel is an Associate with OCBA and has been with the firm since 2001. As a Michigan State University graduate, Rachel enjoys working with her OCBA teammates on a wide variety of innovative projects. Her specialties include public park designs, playgrounds, hardscape design, stormwater management, corporate campus planning, and commercial site design. Rachel’s long-term experience with construction documentation, zoning ordinances, site plan reviews, and permitting help many of OCBA’s master planning projects move into successful completed projects.
Rachel was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan and takes pride in continuing to work in the community and surrounding areas to make better, safer places for families to live, work, and play. She continues to volunteer on local municipal boards and commissions in order to give back to these communities. Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
