The Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is located on 570 acres and provides educational opportunities and miles of hiking trails through a variety of ecosystems.

The Pierce Cedar Creek Institute is located on 570 acres and provides educational opportunities and miles of hiking trails through a variety of ecosystems. OCBA was part of the design team that developed the master plan and provided design through construction administration services for the Institute and has continued to assist with ongoing site improvements.

In the spring of 2017, OCBA was retained to assist with the development of a vision for a new nature adventure play area.  A team of stakeholders participated in a one-half day design charrette in which they chose the play events that would be included.  OCBA sketched a quick master plan which was reviewed in the field by the charrette participants.

The playground was built with volunteer labor and opened to the public in fall 2017.
