OCBA was retained by the City of Saginaw Parks Department in 1997 to provide master planning through construction administration services for a custom playground in Central Park.

Blandford Nature Center and the Land Conservancy of West Michigan are working together to restore the former Highlands Golf Club into a public greenspace within the City of Grand Rapids. OCBA was retained to develop a master plan that guides habitat restoration and public use of the 121-acre property.

Liberty Park was originally an underutilized industrial site complete with leaking underground storage tanks, contaminated soils, and eroding stream banks.

For many years the approximately forty acre Kindleberger Park had been host to the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra’s Summer Series, but a temporary stage had traditionally been set up for the annual performance.

Oshtemo Township selected OCBA to develop master plans for both Township parks – Flesher Field and Oshtemo Township Park. OCBA used a participatory process that included design charrettes for the parks.
