Landscape Master Plan and Health Sciences Building
Saginaw Valley State University
OCBA worked closely with Saginaw Valley State University staff to create a master plan for one quadrant of the SVSU campus and to develop landscape and hardscape design specific to a TMP Architecture-designed 95,975 square foot Health Sciences Building (HSB). The landscape around the HSB will establish the character and set design standards for implementation in the north quadrant of the SVSU campus.
OCBA generated options and alternatives for exploration by SVSU staff to establish preliminary plan concepts. Ideas for site programming, sustainable site development, and site character and image were developed and depicted in plan and sketch studies that communicate design intent and the University’s goals and objectives. The improvements were implemented in 2010.
